Warranty and Returns

At CM Marine, we strive to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. If you are experiencing any issues with a product, please contact our Warranty & Returns team using the details below.

Warranty

All products are covered by a 12-month warranty (unless otherwise stated).

Returns

If you'd like to return an item, we're happy to assist with an exchange or refund, provided the following conditions are met:

  • Return request must be made within 7 days of purchase
  • Item must be unused
  • Item must be returned in original, unmarked packaging
  • Item must arrive back to us without transport damage

Refunds & Restocking Fees

A 15% restocking fee applies to returned items (excluding Victron products).


Victron Energy Products

Victron products are subject to a restocking and handling fee of:
$40 + GST OR 20% of the item value (whichever is greater)

This fee may be waived if you are upgrading to a product of equal or higher value (exchange).

Victron Product Returns

Due to supplier conditions, the following Victron Energy products are non-returnable:

  • Batteries
  • Products without serial numbers (e.g. cables, fuses, installation accessories)

All other Victron products are subject to the restocking and handling fees outlined above.

Faulty Items

If an item is faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a suitable remedy — please contact us before returning anything.

To help us assess the issue quickly, please include:

  • Order number
  • Description of the fault
  • Photos and/or video of the issue
  • Any relevant installation or usage details

We may assist with troubleshooting before approving a return.

In some cases, we may require the item to be returned for testing before a replacement or refund is issued.

⚠ Items sent back without prior approval may not be accepted.

Backorders

If a product is out of stock, it may be placed on backorder and you will be notified. If the item cannot be sourced, we will provide a refund.
