Every NMEA 2000 installation requires a properly powered and terminated backbone. This starter kit includes all the essential components needed to create that backbone, providing a reliable communication network for your marine electronics.

Simply connect the backbone cable between the included T-connectors, fit the terminators at each end, connect the power cable, and plug your compatible devices into the available T-connectors.

Is This the Kit I Need?

If you're installing a Simrad NSX, NSS, GO Series display, GS25 GPS antenna, engine gateway, autopilot or other NMEA 2000 device and don't already have a NMEA 2000 network on your boat, this is the kit you need.

It includes the power cable, 0.6 m and 4.5 m N2K cables, T-connectors and terminators required to create a complete starter network. As your system grows, simply add additional T-connectors and drop cables to connect more devices.

Once your starter network is installed, adding additional devices is quick and easy. Simply add another T-connector to the backbone and connect the new device using a standard NMEA 2000 drop cable.
