Refund policy
Something wrong with your order?
If an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, email sales@cmmarine.co.nz with your order number, what's wrong and a few photos or a short video. We may ask you to return the item to us for testing. Then we'll repair it, replace it or refund you.
Changed your mind?
Email us within 7 days of purchase. The item must be unused, in its original unmarked packaging, and arrive back undamaged.
- Most items have a 15% restocking fee.
- Victron Energy items have a fee of $40 + GST or 20% of the price, whichever is greater.
- We may waive the fee if you swap for something of equal or higher value.
- Original shipping isn't refunded.
What we can't take back for change of mind
- Victron batteries
- Items without serial numbers, such as cables, fuses and installation accessories
- Some special-order items (we'll tell you before you order)
Warranty
- Starter motors, alternators, trim motors and parts: 12 months
- Victron Energy: 5 years on equipment, 3 years on lithium batteries, 2 years on lead-acid batteries
- Other brands: the manufacturer's warranty
For a warranty claim, email us first with your order number, the fault and photos.
Your rights
This policy doesn't affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
